Hi All
Sorry for the newbie Question
I have an arlo Q setup and working fine.
i have also set up the detection zones as well which seem to work , but i still get alerts for any motion outside of those zones.
if you see the attachment i get alerted for any motion outside the box's

You've got the basics set up but now you need to edit your mode(s) to tell them what zones to use. Click the Mode tab, select your camera and edit your modes. (BTW, don't edit the Armed mode - even if it allows you to do so, having something to fall back on that is original can be useful.) If you only have the default Armed and Disarmed modes, create your own custom mode and set up which zones to use when detecting motion. That should solve your issue.
As an aside, some folks have had problems if the Q is set back from the glass for motion detection. Make sure your camera is set as close as possible to the glass.
