I have a long driveway and one camera has a good view of the entire drive but the camera will only detect motion within 7-8 metre's.
Does anyone know if there's an arlo motion detection only device that can trigger the other camera to record and then I can use the cloud activity zones for motion detection? Or is there another way to integrate a non-arlo device to trigger the activation?

Is that with motion sensitivity set at 100? Actually, I guess 8m is about right.
Outdoors I have two other devices for cross triggering:
1. another Arlo camera
2. an Arlo Security light
Your other option might be a motion sensor in a weatherproof casing such as a Smartthings motion sensor if you have a Smartthings hub and integrate with Arlo

Thanks. The smartthings motion sensor could be a solution.
What I dont understand is why Arlo doesn't provide one. Looking at the ideas forum this very topic has been under consideration since 2015.
But yes if its easy enough to integrate other non-arlo equipment that might be the answer.
