Hello and thanks in advance.

 

I have a camera which I can use to look at live events.  I can push the record button and successfully record.  But, it won't detect motion and record.

 

My other cameras are working fine and I've checked rules etc.

 

Help??

Try swapping with a known good camera. If the problem follows the camera, it's time for a trouble ticket to get it replaced.

I was told by ARLo that my low upload speed was responsible for lack of movement detection. Up speed only.76 Mbps. Not the required 1 Meg.

Just a thought,check computer speed....good luck.

Im haveing the same issue two of my cameras are working but the other is not did you find a fix for this?

Welcome to the community! When you say the third camera is " not working" are you able to stream from this camera or is it displaying an error message?

YES, I did for Android.

 

You have to click Settings in the app.  Top right 3 dots on android.

 

Go to Modes.

 

Click All motion on

 

Here's where you check what's being sent out as a message....It's been a couple weeks since I did this but am about 90% sure this is where you want to confirm that each camera is set to send a message.

Also, check your rules to make sure you have a green check under "Send Email Alert" and click "To this list"

Sorry, one more thing....it's tricky.

 

Make sure you SAVE each rule after confirming the previous step.
