can't connect homekit

I'm trying to add a Arlo base station to Apple homekit. 

I did remove the base, reboot, even factory reset. But didn't work.

I have two same model bases and could successfully add one to homekit. So it seems that I need token reset, apparently as other threads.

Would you help?

I am going to need the email address associated with the Arlo account. If you could please pm me that I can get the token reset. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.

Brooke, I see from various posts that this problem has been around for more than a year affecting HUNDREDS + users. And that’s only the users who found the right thread and added their comments to the forum. 

 

I have the same problem as user Mxxx, the original poster…  and I have read your solution… a token reset, accomplished by sending you a DM with the email associated with my account. 

You go on to say that a DM can be sent by clicking on the envelope icon in the upper right corner of the support page. 

Here is the problem: 

1) I’m logged in to my account. 
2) I’m here in the forum. 
3) What envelope icon?

 

There isn’t an envelope icon anywhere on this page. None “hidden” behind menu options nor pull down menus. 

aaaah what now?

Please try this:

My settings - preference - private messenger (drop down menu) - turn on private messages

If private messages are turned on, then you should see it here:
