Recently having video playback issues via the app...note that it's only the app as the web portal has no issues. Clearing the cache and reinstalling the app doesn't help. Speedtest, via WiFi, shows Download - 360 Mbps & Upload - 12 Mbps.

 

When playing videos on the app, the playback pauses constantly and jumps 2-3 seconds at a time (YouTube video link at bottom), which varies by camera and whether you're trying to play it in Dashboard, Devices or Feed. This only affects video playback and not local live streaming. Below I've listed which scenarios/cameras are affected (yes or no). Note that these results are the same regardless of if I'm on the cell network or via WiFi.

  • All Cameras & Doorbell - YES

While the app playback hesitation/stutter issue still remains, there's now a new problem with playback on the app...it only allows you to play the video one time, after that tapping the play button does nothing. The only way to play the video a second time is to go back and select the thumbnail then play it again...but it still plays only one time.

It used to be, with the original hesitation/stutter issue, that when the entire video had played you could then tap the play button again (without going back to the thumbnail) and it would play smoothly...which was something that Jeff was able to see during our conversation.

Looks like by trying to fix the hesitation/stutter issue they've now created an additional issue.
