Has anyone had this problem before with the mount base part? It's hard remove and insert its CR123 batteries. Don't want to break this expensive camera. 😞

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. 🙂

Are you referring to the threaded mount in the camera or to a screw used to hold the magnetic base?

The mount in/under the camera next to the battery cover door that is connected to a stick mount to a screwed vertical wall/tree/whatever. Something like https://community.arlo.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/32919i8A94EC5A522438A7/image-dimensions/2000... and https://bgr.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/arlo-life-pro.jpg.

In other words, the mount screw.  The screw is part of the mount, not the camera.

First try detaching the mount by unscrewing this part (grabbing the two white tabs):  If it is frozen you could use some WD40.

You can also hold this ring with a pair of pliers, and then rotate the camera to unscrew the mount.
