None of my cameras will record yet all will allow manual pictures. Motion detector doesn't light up.

I have 5 cameras on my ARLO System...all have new batteries and show a strong connection to the base station.
Have restarted the base station numerous times. All devices show as "Armed", including the base station.
All base station indicator lights are green. All hardwired connections are secure.
Each camera is set to detect motion and record for 60 seconds. (Have not seen the motion detector icons light up)
All cameras are toggled to "ON" (green) position.
All 5 cameras will take a manual picture.
Base station firmware: 1.16.6.2_1106_ddc8a71 Base station hardware: VMB3010r2
Firmware on each camera has been updated to : 1.4.293
Hardware on each camera has been updated to: H7
The ARLO System is 20 miles away...so I hope I can fix this remotely.
Thanks,

Check your modes and rules to be sure an action is defined in them. Do Nothing would be a bad choice.

I checked all 5 cameras Modes and Rules...they all specify "Record Video" and "60 seconds" record time.
Can you think of anything else?
Appreciate your help.

Are you certain there's been activity that would trigger them? Also, when you say "manual picture" do you mean a snapshot, or a manual video recording?
You could try increasing the motion sensitivity and perhaps enabling audio alerts on the camera most likely to see activity, and see if any recordings result.
If you have activity zones set, you could also try disabling them, and see if that changes anything.
