The Arlo App won't connect to my Base Station VMB3000

Hey there, hope you can help me with the problem. Someone gave me a Netgear Base Station VMB3000, when I try to add the Base Station in the app on my iPhone, it is not recognised, even though I already did a system reset (with the little button on the back of the Station). After I did the system reset and when I plug it through the Eternet Cable to my modem, and then connect the station AC cable to the energy supply I only obtain three led lights on: the first from left to right is green (the power button) , the second one is also green but blinking from time to time (the internet button I guess), the third led light is amber, the remaining led lights do not turn on.

May be more to it but did the person who gave you the base remove it from their account? As far as I know even a base reset does not remove them.
