Hi, I need a setup code to pair my base station with HomeKit. It is the VMB5000
From what im reading I think I need a token reset?

See if you are able to see an accessory that you can remove:
Go to the Home App.
Long-press the accessory, select Settings, and choose Remove Accessory.

It does not show up in HomeKit for me to remove. I am unable to get past the screen where I have to scan the setup code.

If all the steps I have provided were done, I do not have any other steps to provide. You should with those steps be able to set up without a code.

It wouldn't be the device that is defective. It could be something to do with the Apple homekit app itself.

What makes you so certain of that?
I have added my Hue bulbs to homekit, my thermostat, my HomePod, my Apple TVs with no issue.
The only thing I cannot add is the Arlo basestation.
In addition, I have tried adding on both of my iPhones.
