The house I just moved into has 2 Arlo VMC3030 cameras installed and I see that they are now EOL and afaik and please correct me if I'm wrong, that just means I won't be able to use their subscription service correct?

I have a Linux server that I plan to connect to these cameras and can get all the same functionality the subscription provides so I am not worried about that.

My only inquiry is the base station compatibility. The compatibility page lists the the model numbers for all the cameras but under the name and model number of the base stations it only lists the name of the cameras not their model numbers. So I would like to know if the the VMC303

The cameras are EOLed but they will continue to work without updates for the foreseeable future. Any base or SmartHub will work with them but if you want to buy a new one only the hubs are available.

These cameras still get the free 7 day plan for cloud recordings but you can also purchase a plan if you want something they offer. The hub allows you to also record locally so you can use the app to view them but that's not the same as cloud recordings.

The Linux server has nothing to do with these cameras since they must connect to a base or hub, not your WiFi or any other device.

The camera model listed for compatibility is the Arlo Wire-Free Camera which is the VMC3030 which uses 4 CR123 batteries.
