One camera has trouble connecting

recently purchase the Arlo security camera VMS3230 model and have been relatively pleased. The only problem I am having is with the camera on the back porch. The front porch works fine, but the back porch has trouble connecting...It will detect movement alot of the time but not record...and clicking on the live stream, it takes several tries to connect..the signal strength is strong...does the camera need to be resynced with the base? anyone else having this problem?

Hard to say. Usually, if you have full signal strength, it should be good.

 

Here are a few things you can try:

 

  1. Swap cameras to see if the camera or the location is the problem.
  2. If camera seems to be the problem, try opening the battery compartment for a few seconds.
  3. Next, try removing the camera from your system (use Remove button on device page) and reconnecting it.
  4. If camera is still the problem, consider contacting Arlo Support.
  5. If location is the problem, find a different spot for your camera and/or your base station or look for any other devices that might cause interference.
