Not recording when motion sensor is triggered - help

Hi I've just bought the Netgear Arlo Single HD Security Camera Kit. It's all set up, but once there's movemnt on the emra I get an alert, but it isn't recording the video footage? 

 

Surely I don't have to login and manually click record do I? I've checked in my settings that it says record once it detects footage and I have the free 7 days worth of cloud footage package (I've only used 10 seconds so far) 

 

Any advice would really be helpful!

Everybody is having this issue, been going for a few days now, im still going though it now, lodged a tech support, they tried to tell me its a upspeed problem, i had that check all ok, dont know where to go from here!

What mode are your cameras set to? The default mode for motion detection (Armed) should allow recordings to arrive in your library when motion is detected.

 

If you are using a custom mode, check the mode to make sure the appropriate rules are set up for motion detection recording.
