.

Like my new Arlo system and so did my brother when he saw in and now wants one.

Me and my brother share our internet connection, there is a 90 meter Ethernet

cable between our houses.

Looks like this:

My_wifi/adsl_router--------5metercable-------Switch-------90metercable------Switch----->ciscoAP ---> Brothers computers/mobilephones.

Is it possible to connect a Arlo base station to the Switch that is in my brothers house?, this switch has no wifi, he

has separate CiscoAP for his wireless units.

I can se one problem, in the configuration phase , but can i do this in my house and when its

done move brothers Arlo system to his house and his Switch ??

Best Regards

Just offhand, I don't see a problem, even when configuring.  It's not the proximity of the base stations, it's the separate accounts that make the separation.  90 meters is a long run but as long as you're using a good quality cable/connections you're still in spec and shouldn't have problems.
