Just connect the ethernet cable.
What is the LED status?

The order of the LEDs matters - are you saying that the power and internet LEDs are green, and that the camera LED is solid amber?
If so, are any of the cameras on?
Also, when you look at the base status in the hub, is it showing up as offline? Or online?

If the camera led is showing steady amber it usually means the base station has been factory reset and is waiting to be added again. Was this an action you performed?
Do you have a pc you can connect to the network router and use a web browser to login to the arlo web login site my.arlo.com and try adding the base station? You will need to remove the Base and camera from the app my devices list first to reclaim the base.

Ok. The second one is internet, so it is good that it is green.
When you look in the app, are you seeing the base as on-line? Go into settings->my devices, and then select the base there.
Also, it would be helpful to know if you reset the arlo base (which you'd need to do with a paper clip, or something similar).
