Thanks for the responses all.

Figured it out. Yes I was clicking 《edit》.

I needed to Add another method. I was interpreting the Trusted Device which was my phone as needing to have its # updated.

Perhaps a UI/UX thing for Arlo to consider (its confusing).

The push notifications are sent to a device that has the arlo app loaded with your account credentials, make sure the phone permissions for arlo are enabled.
Phone numbers are for SMS messages which are not used except for 2FA.

Yes, understood.  But I have a new phone # and am wondering where / how to update that for the 2FA if I need it in future.

Go into your Account Profile, and then choose Login Settings.  After that choose Two-Step Verification.

Yeah. there's no phone # there.  Only an email address.

I can choose the phone "Flip 3" but the only other option on the screen is the email address.

Have you clicked "Edit" at the top right?

You can also add method to access the sms option if not already enabled.

Just adding that SMS doesn't seem to be enabled at the moment.

@egombrich:  The default is to use web-push to the app, and not SMS.  Web-push doesn't require configuring the phone number.
