Go2 SD card not recognized

My Go2 suddenly quit recognizing the SD card.

I have tried several different ones, each of which had been used previously in the Arlo.

In the settings, the slider for using the local storage option is not active. It is there but isn't available.
It had been recording fine previously.

Can the sd slot go bad?

Rebooting the camera may help but you may need to remove/reset/reinstall it.
