It sounds like there may be an issue with locating the device. You could try increasing the location radius within your Geofencing settings to see if you get the same results.

Maybe. However, if I open the app straightaway once I get home, the location actually is correct and then it switch to the correct mode. Not sure where the delay is coming from.

The app must be running for Geofencing to update the mode. Is your phone automatically closing or putting the app to sleep (this could be why it updates when you open the app)? You might check your phone settings and make sure it isn't closing the application after it is idle for a period of time.

Engineering is currently investigating this issue. I will provide an update as soon as I have more information.

Location settings are on high accuracy (gps, Wi-Fi, mobile)
Geofencing radius set to medium.
Would love this to be resolved.
Particularly annoying as I am deaf and cannot hear the alarm so fail to turn it off. It needs a visual cue for hearing impaired.

Please open a case with support about all of this, including the visual alarm. Also, post this in the Idea Exchange to raise the issue with engineering.

Many users have had success resolving this issue by checking their mobile devices battery saving settings. Some devices have battery optimization settings that close or put apps to sleep after they have been idle for a period of time. Check your mobile devices settings and be sure that an exception is made for Arlo if you are running battery saving settings.

Anyone on iOS resovled the issue with the solution James provided? I am not sure what I am looking for actually. My understanding is that battery saving will be kicked in only if your are running on the low batter, such as lowering than 20%?
Thanks guys
