Cannot log into web portal & mobile app - request timed out

Can't view videos or live view. Says Arlo is unavailable then logs me out of app. It's recording and alerting to new motion and videos but library is unavailable and empty. Everything is offline and wondering if it's me or is Arlo offline for everyone.

This issue is now resolved. Please let us know if you continue experiencing unexpected behavior when logging in.

Is anyone else having issues logging to https://my.arlo.com ?  Keep getting message the request timed - right away, at the *first* log in screen where it doesn't yet request credentials.

 

Doesn't matter what web browser, computer or OS I use - I am having no issues connecting to any other websites, just my.arlo.com ...

 

UPDATE:  Now can get to the credentials page, but receive this error... I've cleared browser cache, doesn't help... are they having issues with the API, I wonder?

I'm getting the same message and experience when logging into my app. The website says everything is up and running fine and my app is up to date. Please help.

I fully charged Arlo 2 two days ago and starting from this morning, I kept seeing error message "Arlo is currently unavailable" when trying to access my camera via app. 

 

I tried to log in via web page and kept seeing error message as well.

 

I checked my Base and all three lights are in stable green.

 

I checked outside and did not see any lights blinking on the camera.

 

Thanks for any help to resolve this issue.

Checked https://status.arlo.com/, showing everything is OK.

 

However I am still seeing error message.

Update:

 

Accessing Arlo video/library via app is very unstable.

It could work for 1 minute and then "Arlo is currently unavailable"  error show up again and can't access anything.

Starting this morning I have been getting this pop-up when I try to log on to the Arlo app for Android: "We're sorry, Arlo is currently unavailable. Please try again later.".
I am getting alerts and I seem to be able to log on and i can access the librsry but I cannot access any camera or flood light.
My app version is 2.16_27097.

Any one else?

Trying to login to "MyArlo" page is not working at the moment.

I have tried to reboot my Phone then I tried to login via the Web browser from my computer and I am not able to log in there as well.

Is there any one else having the same issue?

Now I got in but everything is extreamly slow in there and I got internal error shown in the top of the app.

Previously I have had no issue with the my.arlo.com site. Today I entered the correct user name and password, but eventually I would get a loading indicator for a second, then the cursor reverts to normal and nothing happens. If I wait for a minute after my login attempt I get a  "the request timed out"  out with a yellow toast popup. In the console I saw these errors:

Eventually I was able to get into the site after I kept trying, but it was not showing anything under library or devices. There was a lot more error spam in the dev console.

Hi my app just updated yesterday. Every since the update I am unable to login onto the app. I am receiving no error messages etc its just showing me the arlo logo and then after avout 30secs its going back to the username and password screen. My username and pass are being inputted 100% correctly. Is anyone else having issues?

yes same thing here, its great because had someone steal stuff from my place last night and cant look at the footage.

I am so pissed, just when I needed these cameras for a break in last night (stole my new saw) they fail me, no phone notifications no nothing.  Thanks Arlo perfect timing.

Even earlier in this thread jamesc said there is an outage this morning. the link  to check the status was posted  in this thread and others  today.  Arlo know about it.

Was there an update issued on 05/01?

 

It is acting very weird.

Sometimes it takes forever to log-in

Sometimes allows me in

Sometimes it won't let me in

Sometimes kicks me out- Session suddenly times out for no reason

Sometimes won't show me my cameras, etc.  

Sometimes it won't allow me to set the "mode"

I also saw a feature called picture in a picture.

 

It all worked fine on 4/30.  Today, it's acting very screwy.

 

Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Yep, and the manual record button seems to have vanished for me.  Arlo are woeful at testing these updates....they should think of running them past someone other that Stevie Wonder.

The Timeout happens quickly for no reason & kicks you out & then you gotta log back in. Very frustrating.

Plus, between commands, it takes forever to do anything. (it hangs up)

Any one else having major issues with the new update May 01??? My app isn’t loading, cameras or library not loading, and base station keeps saying offline. Never had an issue before doing this update.
