Just purchased our cameras a few weeks ago and have only been on a few times but when set to record motion it's hit and miss, sometimes it happens sometimes not? All advice appreciated

First, the sense level is adjustable and may need to be raised

Second, make sure your not trying to cover to large an area as the sense PIR is good to a max of 20 ft for people.

Third, try and make the motion across the field of view

It may take a few settings to get all right.

We've raised the sensitivity  to the highest level, and it's not greater than 20 ft. We have also walked across the field of range of the camera and while I can see myself on the camera it's not recording or alerting us to motion. The other camera is working fine with an even bigger area so I'm at a loss. We bought these camera's for just this purpose  so we need to get them working asap

Swap cameras around to see if it's the camera or location that's the issue.  ALso, posting screenshot of your cameras' views may be useful.

Just did that and the good one is working in the "bad" location , the "bad" camera not working in the good location.. so it has to be that one camera, any other ideas?

If the system is new enough, return it to the store for a swap.  Otherwise, use the Contact Support link at the bottom here to open a case for help and a possible RMA.
