Will a regular arlo camera work with an Arlo Pro base station? I already have an Arlo Pro bade station and three Arlo Pro camera’s.

I've run Arlos, Pros, and Pro2s all on the same base ( which was even a Gen 1 base unit )

Do you have to buy add on camera specifically? The set with base is cheaper right now than adding camera’s. And I already have the Arlo Pro base.

Nope. If getting another full set is cheaper, get the full set. You can then either choose to sell or store the second base or you can use the second base. Having a second base is like having a second zone for cameras. A second base is especially useful if you have a very large area of spread out cameras with less than stellar camera-base signal strength. The only disadvantage is you can cross activate cameras sync'd to different base stations
