Countrygirl,
What is indicating that the camera is detecting motion but not recording? What is the status of the running man on the cameras screen (grey=inactive detection, black=active detection)? Make sure you have the cameras set to a mode that contains rules to allow the camera to record when motion is detected.

You're not all clear as to what your issue is. I'm guessing it's the "initialize fabric" error message. I've been able to get past this by simply logging out and back in using the app, perhaps multiple times. There's also a report from support that a new app is on the way to address this.
If this isn't your issue, be explicit as to what it is.

You can log in via browsers, or use the IOS app or Anrdoid app... thats it.
