I have had the video doorbell for 3 months. Once I adjusted the sensitivity to 50% it worked the way I wanted till a few days ago. I am getting a notification of motion every time a car drives by on the street that is over 50 ft away. I lowered the sensitivity to 10% and I still got over 100 notifications today. Is anyone having the same problem?

It's possible that the sun's position has changed enough for the doorbell to react to reflected IR from the sun. You may need to use a custom mode for the day, lowering the sensitivity while still getting the detection needed and use the schedule to switch between modes.

I feel it can’t be sunlight related because it is doing the same thing after dark. I adjusted the sensitivity to 5 % today and it is not recording every car going by. I will have to wait and see if it still works the way it worked before a few days ago. Any other ideas to try ?

I lowered the sensitivity to 5% and the notifications every time a car drove by went away. I slowly raised it back up to 50% over 2 days and it seems to be working the way it worked for the first 2 months I had it. My guess is there must have been a glitch in an Arlo software update that corrected itself with the next update. But that is only my guess of course
