Nicor 18888 12VDC doorbell support

We moved into a new home and got set up with the Arlo  camera system. Recently purchased a arlo video doorbell to complete the set up. Figured it would be easy, new build and all. Set up instructions leave much to be desired, for connecting to our Nicor 18888 doorbell chime. We’re pretty handy and I don’t really want to call a “doorbell professional” as arlo suggests if it’s not to difficult to set up. Anyone able to get the nicor 18888 doorbell chime set up with the arlo video doorbell ?

The doorbell camera will not work on 12vdc... which is the output of the Nicor

The specs are 16-24 Volts AC with 10VAC current, so your chime is not compatible.  You'd need to replace both the chime and the transformer.

FWIW, your chime isn't compatible with Ring either.
