Hi,
I'm just looking to install the power kit but I'm not too sure where to put the wires with the current layout. Could you please advise.
Thanks.

Hi Nesian21
This How-To video should help with the installation process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMogHU9MyPI

Do you have an install guide for the chime?
If not, a model number might help.

No install guide for the doorbell, it's circa 1970's
It is however a Friedland 454

FWIW, after googling it, I don't think it's compatible. It apparently uses a 6 volt transformer (or batteries). So check the ratings on your transformer.
But I think the power kit needs to be wired across 1 and 3 for the front doorbell (2 and 3 for the rear). That is based on this: https://diy.stackexchange.com/questions/196032/confused-about-strange-wiring-to-friedland-no-454-doo...

Cheers for that. I think you could be right. Will have to investigate further into a transformer.
Much appreciated.
