My doorbell chime uses a diode in order to play the full tone. I recently installed the Arlo Video Doorbell (AVD) and had to remove the diode in order to get the doorbell to function properly. With removing the diode our doorbell chime does not play the full tone is there a way that the AVD can function with a chime that requires a diode?
Thank you

Perfect Thank you!
Come to find out the app was set to digital, but the timer was only allowing 4 sec of the chime to play which was not long enough for the full tone to play.

Ok. Did you check that the "traditional chime" setting for the doorbell was set to "digital"?
