I have an Arlo Wired Essential Video Doorbell with an Arlo Secure Subscription plan. I have set up an Activity Zone, yet anything in the entire camera's field of view triggers an event (e.g. every car that drives by). Am I missing something; I was told the Activity Zones would work with the Arlo Secure plan?

They do.
I suggest the first step for troubleshooting is to remove the activity zones, and create new ones.
Reflections/shadows might be a factor. I found that headlights reflecting off my windows triggered an ultra camera that was aimed away from the street. Also, if there is any motion in the zone (including bushes, etc), then the activity zones won't supress the recording/notification. Those recordings likely will still be tagged as "vehicle".
If you haven't adjusted the motion sensitivity, then I also suggest trying that. The best approach is to use the motion detection test while you walk into the field of view of the doorbell. Find the lowest setting that reliably detects you, and set the threshold in the doorbell rule(s) to that value (or slightly above it).

I know for sure that random motion is not causing the event triggers outside the activity zone because I can see the vehicles; they are genuine hits. I have greatly reduced the sensitivity of the doorbell camera to see if that works.
I also tried the motion detection test, but couldn't quite figure out how that works. I never saw a flashing LED, but it could be that the sunlight was masking it.
