Arlo Chime 2 does not rings for too short time not more than 3 to 4 seconds

The Arlo Chime 2 is connected to Arlo Essential doorbell. When the doorbell button is pressed, the chime 2 rings for 3 to 4 seconds. In other words the tune plays only once and does not repeat. I tried settings in Arlo app, but none work.

I believe that's normal. The app, however, will continue to ring for many seconds.

In my onion, the main purpose of putting chime is if you don't have phone (app) then it rings.

How did you set the system up? In many cases, a phone is needed.
