I can't remove the cover with the pin...........it worked before but not now.

If you mean you're trying to remove the doorbell from the mount, try pushing the doorbell into the mount while using the pin to release it. If it's wired to existing power, the wires may be bunched up causing the doorbell to be forced against the release.

Arlo has the worst website and customer service of any company I've ever seen.  When I attempted to log on to customer support, per their instructions, my only option was to renew my membership.  Then I was on the phone with two different people who wanted me to send videos of my problem and couldn't answer my question.  I finally hung up on them.  I'll never do business with Arlo again!

Thank you for the feedback with your support experience. Are you still experiencing this symptom with releasing your doorbell from the wall plate?

Yes, I've given up on releasing the cover and will be purchasing another brand doorbell.
