My regular doorbell works when it’s hooked up but when I wire my Arlo doorbell up it don’t charge? Anyone know why?

How much charge is in the battery?
It doesn't charge all the time.

Like 20% and then I put back on the bracket to charge from the door. Should not be fully charged from wall before I connect back to door power?

It should be charging if it is around 20%.
What is the transformer rating? (volts and VA).
