I have read some post about hardwired doorbells. I am concerned that I should have it disconnected due the doorbell facing the sun most of the day until 7pm. Cannot move it due to the connection?
Keeping it as is concerns me about a fire! I guess I should buy a wireless doorbell?
It maybe time to abandoned Arlo even though I have spent so much on equipment.

While I prefer the wireless doorbell, there's no reason the wired version should be a problem except perhaps in extreme conditions (think Death Valley). A faulty doorbell can cause problems but if that were the case we'd be hearing an awful lot about such issues.

Is your doorbell shutting down due to overheating? Or getting hot to the touch?
