Wire free video doorbell and Moto E5 play running android 8.0 Republic wireless

When answering doorbell with my Moto e5 play running android 8.0 the person at door can hear me but I cannot hear them. All of the settings seem to be correct. Also, the video freezes and is very pixelated when trying to answer. My wife's phone has android version 10 and works fine.

Try reducing the video resolution within your doorbell video settings. Do you still experience the same behavior?
