Hi

I have just installed a wireless Arlo video doorbell, as well as an Arlo chime 2. They are both connected but I have noticed that the chime will only ring if the video doorbell button is pressed twice. That seems strange to me as I would expect it to ring with the first (and often only) press by someone at the door.

Has anyone else encountered this and also discovered how to correct?

Thanks

First, try pressing the doorbell button a bit longer. It strikes me that sometimes the person pressing the button is a bit quick and the doorbell doesn't respond (still waking up?). If that doesn't help, I'd remove both from your account and set them up again. It may be useful to also reset the doorbell as part of the process.
