Just purchased it today, replacing old Arlo video doorbell,
so while it's charging, thought I would ask .....
1. do I connect to wifi before mounting, or mount then connect to wifi?
2. Connect with Arlo Secure app?
3. does firmware automatically update after wifi connection?

You onboard the doorbell using the Arlo Secure App (choosing "add device"). That will start a workflow that includes the entire installation (including mounting, etc).

Thanks! Firmware update seems to have stopped progress. Blue/Amber stopped liking, but app still showing it's updating. Update bar seems to have stopped also.
