Does anyone know why my doorbell, when wired, wouldn’t show that’s it’s plugged in and charging on my dashboard. They only way to get it to show as plugged in is to flip the breaker off then back on. But it’s not like the breaker is tripped. It’s always on.  This never happened to my wired first generation doorbell.

Mine is not connected to power but I suspect it's due to the battery being already charged. I believe that the battery will not actually be charged via the transformer until the level drops to 60% and then charges back up. @JamesC , @ShayneS , or @BrookeN  - can you confirm?

That's correct. You can read more about this behavior here: https://kb.arlo.com/000062518/Why-does-my-Arlo-Essential-Video-Doorbell-Wire-Free-battery-drain-even...

Thank you for the response. That is it. I’ve noticed the camera back in charging mode after a couple of days.
