Arlo AVD4001 HomeKit and Base Station support?

When will this be able to support homkit? I have a base station and I feel like I made a mistake going with Arlo.

While we are still planning to release firmware to allow HomeKit and Base Station support, I do not have a date at this time for when this firmware will be made available. Stay tuned here on the community and arlo.com for announcements.

Is there any update on the timing for HomeKit support with the Video Doorbell 2K (AVD4001)?

I previously had the Essential Video Doorbell Wired (AVD1001) which stopped working, so I purchased the AVD4001. I didn't even think to look for HomeKit support, which seems commonplace. Frustrated to say the least.

Me too. What on earth is the point of releasing a new product that literally doesn't work with your own base station?

Are you telling the truth about supporting your base station with the new doorbell Arlo, or are you telling little porkie pies?

Arlo is THE most difficult home system I've had. I used Google Nest before moving and have had SimpliSafe and Ring before. They all worked much better and were much more user-friendly than Arlo. We especially loved Google Nest. The previous homeowner already had the system and left it behind. At first we thought they were being super nice and now we question if it was because they hated it too.

Hello - Is there any update to adding HomeKit integration to the Arlo AVD4001? Ever since the product was launched there was a "promise" to add this doorbell to base stations and yet here we are.... still no solution.

Why is this so difficult to release a product that works with your own base station and Apple Homekit? So frustrating.

@JamesC announced on another thread that the feature is in system test.  So it should be rolled out soon.

Hello - any update to this? I see that the app was updated (iOS Arlo app v5.0.5) to have doorbell cameras compatible with some base stations but there’s no mention of HomeKit.
