Hi

Just replaced my old wired door bell with 2nd generation, wired set up.

My old door bell used to give me recordings 5 seconds before the person came up in the field of vision. This new one only starts recording when the person is in the middle of the shot. This is not great, as it only really picks the back of the person walking past.  So I get 3 second of the back of the person walking t owes there side of my house, and then empty video recording...

I cannot find a setting that would allow me to record from the moment they enter the field of vision, until they leave? I have turned on the setting to record until motion stop.

The older wired Arlo doorbell (AVD1001) had pre-roll, which gives you about a 3-second lookback.

The other Arlo doorbells unfortunately don't have this feature.   You can try increasing the motion sensitivity - that might help a little (but likely not enough).

That is good to know ... An upgraded doorbell with downgraded services ... 🤣🙄🤔😐😑...

Might have to revert back to the old one then ...

This is a bit irritating, specially having spent a decent amount on the 2k doorbell.

Ps: I have adjusted sensitivity to max. And it is still not good.

Thanks 👍
