I have one ARLO Ultra VMC5040 that I am having problems with.   To start with, this camera has been at 0% battery for probably 6 months.   The same as the 2 other Ultras I have protecting the golf course.   I have brought the batterie s to 100% and 2 work fine.  This one, serial number 5GG18B7GA9143 is not responding to my efforts.

I've tried to factory reset it, but no matter how long I hold the sync button, I never see an amber or any light.  I have put different batteries into just to make sure.  I removed this camera from the Base station and have been trying to add it.

Again, no blue or any light indicator, when ARLO starts to search for the camera, it will spin for over 20 minutes without finding anything.

I am at the point that I just think the camera is shot.   Besides the standard factory reset, is there any other trick that I might use?  The camera did work 6 months ago.  Is there any type of diagnostics I can run to verify if the camera is just dead?

I will wind up purchasing another Ultra,  I will need it for the golf season, so I have time.

Any suggestions?

It sounds like a failed camera to me also.

Might be worth taking the battery out, and looking for corrosion of some kind in the camera shell.
