Hi

I have two Arlo Ultra 2. I've been having this problem for a while now. I start the app on my phone, see both cameras, one works perfectly but as soon I click on play on the other camera, it just spins like an hourglass and never starts. I have the latest firmware and app version och and I have tried moving the other battery to the one that doesn't work but no change. The battery indicator tells me the battery is 98% loaded. I have a strong connection to the base station. Can you please try to help me.

If you swap the cameras, does the problem move with the camera?  Or does it stay with the location?

The problem moves with the camera.

You could try a factory reset -

  1. remove the camera from the account
  2. open the housing and press the sync button inside until the camera LED flashes amber (~15 sec)
  3. add the camera back to the account

Is the camera still under warranty?

No, I think I have had the two cameras for like five years. Im on my way to buy two more cameras and just need to know if I have to buy two or three. I think the cameras are to expensive to just work for five years.

Is this also happening when you use my.arlo.com on a PC?

Unfortunately it does sound like the camera.

OK. Thank you. Just wanted to know if there where some part I could change or anything else I could do, before I decide about new cameras.

The cameras aren't user-repairable, and Arlo doesn't offer any repair services for them.

It sounds like you've done all there is to do.  About all that is left is removing everything from the account, and doing a paper-clip reset on the base then you add it back.  No guarantee that will solve anything though.

OK. I will make a test. Thank you for your time.  // Rikard
