Cannot record live stream

I have 3 - 4k pro cameras, and paying for unlimited cameras. After the app update, I am having several annoying issues and wanted to see if anyone else is having the same. 

First, in the app, when trying to view a full-screen live feed, the view does some weird kind of spin, and then it shows full view. Same thing happens when it closes from full view.


Secondly, and most concerning is I no longer have the ability to view a live feed and then record what I am seeing. The record button 

 

Am I missing something?  I am paying a ridiculous amount of money annually for this “supposedly” functionality and now they are malfunctioning. 

 

I am really lazy, but just like when I left Comcast/Xfinity, I am going to have to find some other cameras, have them hard-wired, store on-site and be done with this nonsense!

 

This is getting really silly!

Do you have local 2k live streaming enabled in the video settings? This is normal behavior if it is. When 2K and 4K(for Arlo Ultra) local streaming is enabled, manual recording and snapshots will not be available. This is a limitation with live streaming. If you want to record and take snapshots, the stream must be 1080p or lower.

I did reach out to the Support Team. This is why I am searching here. The support individual told me to sign out of the app and sign back in. 

That is as far as we got in 15 minutes…
