So the only reason I purchased Arlo was for the no subscription fee now Arlo has disabled my cameras and says if I pay $149 a year they will allow me access to the cameras again???

FWIW, Arlo dropped the free 7-day cloud storage for new camera models back in 2018, and all currently sold cameras require a subscription for cloud storage.
The Ultras have always required a subscription for Cloud Storage, but local storage does not require a subscription.
Can you let us know
- the camera models you have
- the hub model you have
- whether you see "Library" in the app menu, or whether you see "Feed" and "Dashboard".
