Dear Arlo Customers,
Thank you for your patience. Arlo services are now fully restored. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. The disruption in service which affected some of our customers was due to a technical issue that arose during routine system maintenance.
Thank you.

What happened to the Arlo Base Station under the "DEVICES" section? It used to allow you to turn on the ALARM remotely but now there is NO Option that I can see to Turn ON/OFF your ALARM on the base station.

Ok that is not good! i had to call and have the Senipr Citizen in the home where the camera is installed and watching over and ask them to reset. it worked, but only becuse there was a caregiver there at the tme to do the reset. i was thinking of adding this system to my homes for when i am out of town..But, i wouldnt have someone there to reset them when this happens. this is super dissapointing.

Too many problems. I want my money back or I will see you in the class action filing. I have owned our device for 12 days and had so many problems ILOST COUNT. Can I bill you for my time??? Do the thieves know about your down time? So the sticker you gave me was an open invetation? How many thieves and gang members use your system? Did you notify the affected (customers). How dare you sell a product that is so important before it is reliable. Trust me i have all the time in the word to expose you.
Respectfully
CG
Good luck.

I have worked in data processing for over 30 yrs for JPmorgan Chase and one thing we prided ourselves on was 99.995% uptime.
A credible company offering a security product ESPECIALLY should have redundant cutover facilities. There is NO excuse for a prolonged worldwide outage at all.

Has anybody tried to reset their password yet? Even just attempting to do so fixed my log in issues (kept the same password and backed out of it, prior to that nothing was working). Maybe I have been lucky to not have any other hardware-based issues? Any update as to if this was a botched update or other service failure?
-I am not a fan boy but this kind of thing has generally rarely happened from those that I've spoken with and in general most other people I know that own their products have not had issues as long as they kept things up-to-date and knew how to use a smart phone. I can't speak anything about their web portal. Blaming them for ruining your family or killing your elderly mother is a bit of a melodrama I think. But then again, YMMV.

Reboot your base station and if needed reconnect your cameras. Many times this can be attributed to low batteries.
