I have three cameras at my house. One doorbell camera, one camera by the outdoor kitchen area, one camera in my shop. When I am working in my shop, I want to set that camera to "Standby" so I am not getting notifications, and there is no need to record what is going on in the shop. When I finish working in the shop, I want to set it to Arm Away. Same thing with my outdoor kitchen. No need to alert and record anything there when I am obviously at that area of the house. However, when I am in the outdoor kitchen, I do want the doorbell to be in Arm Away mode, that way if someone comes to the front door rather than knowing to walk around the back of the house to the outdoor kitchen, I get a notification on my phone and I can just tell them via phone to walk around back.

With the new "update", seems I cannot do any of this anymore, it is all-or-nothing for the entire house. An honest question here, is Arlo just getting greedy wanting us to setup multiple locations so you can charge us more each month, or do the developers all work in apartments or in some foreign country where what someone like me, a rural house owner in the USA, has use cases that are just completely foreign to the way they think?

Custom modes is not available as of yet. However, our development team is currently working on bringing back the custom mode features. I will keep the community updated when they are available.
