Have you tried a different LAN port on your router?

Thank you. I did try that too. Changed all cables, ports on the router, charge port. Etc no luck

Do you see the base station in your router's attached device list?

Ok. The color is actually amber (though often it looks red) and means "An error has occurred or something is wrong with the connection."

Since the base is in the router's list, the problem is not the ethernet connection to the base. It could be that the router is blocking the connection to the Arlo Cloud, or it might be some other error.
Does the base still show up in your Arlo account?
What model is it? (There is a VMBxxxx label on the base).

I would also suggest power cycling both the router and base, in that order.

The model number is VMB4540 and I don’t see it in my router list anymore.

Had to buy a new base station as this one went bust! I must say the build quality is very bad.
