The Green Dot next to Settings in the Arlo Secure Web Portal is driving me crazy. I'm thinking that it means I need to do something under settings, but I can't find out what it wants me to do. Anyone have any ideas on this?

I can't be sure but did you start to set up something like Emergency Response but didn't complete it?

Is it showing anything within the app? After you click on settings can you send a screenshot of that please?

Have you tried logging out and logging back in to see if it disappears?

Many times. I can't get rid of it.

So I found out how to access setting using the phone app, and when going to setting there, 2 green dots showed up there under person and vehicle recognition. These green dots did not show up on the Web based portal. Opening person and vehicle recognition in the web app did nothing, but opening them in the phone app did make the green dots by person and vehicle recognition go away in the phone app.

I hoped that the green dot by settings would now be gone, but no luck, it's still there. There does seem to be a bug that the green dots show up in the phone app by person and vehicle recognition, but not the web app.

Now only if we can figure out whats causing the green dot by setings.

That green dot next to settings is driving me nuts, I've looked everywhere.

I was just wondering this, if I have a green dot next to settings on the web app, shouldn't I have a green dot next to settings on the phone app? I don't have the green dot on the phone app, like I do on the web app.

What if you use a incognito browser or a different browser does it still show up? Also, click on explore the app and scroll all the way to the bottom and see if it disappears after that.

Tried Chrome in incognito mode, still there. Tried Edge and Firefox also, same results. Edge did have a green dot next to "Explore the App" that when away after I clicked on it.

Chrome in incognito mode, Edge and Firefox all gave me popups 1st time using them.

In searching through the app I looked at "Plans" under "Home". Should the text box on that page be blank or empty?

All in all, I still got the green dot by "Settings", but only on the web app, not the mobile app.

I apologize for the delay in my response. It is hard fro me to tell where the green dot is coming from. It may be a setting missed or step.
