I have huge gripe and am a long time customer. One of the amazing features I miss from Ring (and that the Arlo app used to have) is the ability to disable a specific device and for a specific amount of time. We have a screened in porch now and the only way to not get constant video taping and running down the batteries is to go into the current mode, choose the devices and disable motion detection. That is a crazy “solution” however because it permanently changes the mode unless you remember to set it back up again. I’m about to leave Arlo for good at this point.

Have you modified the standby mode? If you haven't, then putting the system into standby is a much quicker way to disable recordings and notfications.
