I use a routine to Arm Home at midnight, and then switch to Standby in early morning.
Now I get woken to an Arlo notification in my phone when the automation runs and the system is Armed and then unarmed.
Please disable these! We wake up to an Arlo alert, which can be frightening, only to see our system as armed like we wanted it to.
Or give us the option to disable such non-useful notifications.

Caspter_NL,
As of now there are no plans to change the Arm/Disarm notifications sent for mode changes. I will continue providing the feedback posted here to the development team for consideration but I do not have any new information to share at this time.

We appreciate and are reviewing the feedback provided about the recent enhancement for mode change notifications. The details provided in this thread and others has been shared with the relevant teams internally. I will provide an update here once I have more information available to share.

- And to add to this, I planned to turn on my Hue lights, when detecting motions on my Arlo cameras (through IFTTT). As a consequence of this odd behaviour, the lights turns on, every time I arm or disarm my Arlo system, which makes this routine unusable.

I don't understand the refusal to meet this basic quality of experience request.
Beyond that, the fact that the Feed icon increments a badge number for hidden events is surely a bug. It is like your email client including spam items in your unread mail count.

@ittroll We do not understand Arlo's refusal either. @GoBraves has already proved that by not enabling us to mute these manual mode change notifications is NOT making the system more safe, in fact it has the opposite effect. This has been going on since about May 2023, hence the reason there are 155 posts on this thread. Basically seems to come down to Arlo not listening to their customers' needs.

Hard to disagree with that. When a company refuses to listen to its customers then it’s time to move on.

Goodbye Arlo. I am canceling my subscription. You act as the inability to turn off mode change push notifications is an enhancement that we should be grateful to have. You couldn’t be more wrong and you just lost another customer for not listening.
