I have the old legacy cameras that work just fine still. I went to remove one of them and then when I went to add more devices, I click “add camera” and nothing happens. It’s not clickable. I can click “lights” underneath it though. But for example if I was to go ahead and click “security light” it’s also unclickable. Seems like the app is messed up. I have a subscription and confirmed with support that I can have up to 5 legacy cameras. Tried to log into arlo through the browser but it just lags on the trust this device screen. What gives!?

Have you tried doing this from both your phone and a PC?
Also, have you tried a different PC browser?

If you have Arlo Secure, then you can have unlimited cameras (any mix) in a location.
The "up to 5" is the limit for free cloud storage (and applies if you don't have a subscription).

Same issue, iOS app is unresponsive when trying to “add camera”. Adding a light, doorbell or base station all work. Option for adding a camera is broken.

FWIW, I am not seeing that on my own iPhone.
Do you see "Feed" and "Dashboard" in the app menu? Or do you see "Library" instead?
Also, what version of the app are you running?

Using version 4.9
I only see library. My profile just says “gathering information” and never does anything. Somethings definitely wrong with the app, and it doesn’t appear Arlo is addressing the issue.

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.
Can you provide a list of the devices that cannot be added.

Hello,
I’ve removed the app from my iPhone. I’ve added and deleted it with airplane mode/wifi.
i installed the app to the latest version. My iPhone IOS is also the latest version. Although I’ve installed the latest Arlo app, it shows library not feed. My profile says “gathering information”. When I go to click add new device, you’re unable to click from the list of features such as “add cameras, add lights, add doorbells & chimes, base station hubs”.
I’ve tried to log in from google chrome, when I click trust this browser, it will circle and nothing ever loads. It appears the app is glitched. Although, it says it’s the latest 4.9 Arlo app, it is not showing or doing any of the things demonstrated in the photos on the App Store. People are going to buy camera and not be able to install them because when you click add cameras it doesn’t do anything.

I deleted the app, did a hard boot on my phone, installed the app again and it’s still acting the same. Can’t add a camera, only working option is to add lights, doorbell or base station. Anywhere I click on the screen where it shows the option for adding a camera it is unresponsive.

Also on the setting menu under “account”, it keeps saying “getting information” just like the other user seems to be experiencing. Obviously not an isolated case.

Is it possible to provide a screenshot of the "gathering information" messaging?

A workaround is to add the camera manually. Momentarily press the base sync button then the camera sync button.

It’s working now, however my app still not has updated even though I have the most up to date version of the Arlo app. Once logged in, it has not updated to the new look.
