Arlo app freezes on start up

My app freezes on start up screen and hasn’t stopped for over a week. Nice security while I was on vacation. No support to fix it. Pretty much pointless to have if you want security when out of town.

I don't have a phone number to call Arlo Support.  I started a chat support session and the agent called me back.  I did not wait long.  During that session, when the agent walked me through the process, we were not able to fix the problem.  Subsequently, I realized that even though I put my phone in airplane mode, because I was still connected to my home WiFi, I did not cut the connection to Apple's iCloud storage.  Later, on my own but following the same instructions I received from the agent, I made sure that I was not on WiFi, and then put the phone in Airplane mode, and the process worked.  I don't know if that helps.

 

Clearly it is a problem of which Arlo is aware as the agent was able to find instructions for how to fix it.
