If the invitation shows pending, this indicates it has not been properly accepted. You must use the link included in the invitation email to accept access. Be sure you're following the instructions listed here to get started: How do I add friends to my Arlo account?

All that email says is to create the account. There is no option for accepting the invite.

Click on "create account" on a PC. That will open the browser to my.arlo.com. From there, either log in to an existing account, or create a new one. Either way, that should accept the invite, and you should see the shared cameras in the account.
The "Create Account" in the email includes a token in the URL that is needed to complete the invite process.
