The LED does not do anything . They appear to be off.

Power cycle the camera and use the reset button until the camera clicks and the LED flashes amber. It may be that the power to the camera is bad - you could try a different QUALITY cable and a 2A USB wall wart. If all fails, it would seem to be the camera and opening a case would be your recourse.
